a little trip out to Salisbury for a visit to the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection. Fabulous little museum with cockpits you can climb into and release your inner Maverick or Goose. Turns out I would have been too tall for a Tornado cockpit and now a bit round peg in a square hole.

Photo of the season:

Basingstoke Hockey Club loved hosting the HHA finals day last weekend. Lots of brilliant memories can be found on their page. One very worthy mention has to be said for this lovely moment following the Southampton Hockey Club vs Wi******er HC match.

The player from Wi******er was clearly disappointed after the loss and was sat alone on the pitch when the Southampton player realised, came over to shake her hand and then sat down with her in an amazing show of sportsmanship and compassion.
This is what makes this sport special!
