🎃👻 HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM WONDER BUGS! 👻🎃

We had the MOST spooktacular morning at our Halloween Special Stay & Play! 🧙‍♀️🍂 The woodland was bursting with spooky adventures, creepy creations and a little bit of magic! ✨🕷️

🎃 Pumpkin Dough Fun! 🧡 We squashed, squished and moulded our pumpkin dough using spooky cutters to create all sorts of Halloween shapes!

🔨 Little Tool Explorers! 🛠️ We practised our tool skills by hammering wooden tees and drilling holes into pumpkins. Our little explorers were busy as bats! 🦇

🖌️ Spooky Masterpieces! 🎨 We worked together to create a giant spooky canvas using a HUGE broomstick paintbrush and muddy paint. Messy, magical fun! 🧹🖤

🫧 Bubble, Bubble, Cauldron Trouble! 🧙‍♀️ We made our own bubbling cauldron pictures using bubble paint, cardboard tubes and straws. 💚

🕷️ Creepy Crawly Nature Play! 🍂 Our nature tray was full of creepy crawlies hiding amongst the earth and leaves, with a giant spider and his magnificent web! 🕸️

🧪 Magical Woodland Potions! ✨ Our resident witch and her little assistants brewed a special woodland potion using natural ingredients. Each ingredient represented something magical, including friendship, laughter, strength and creativity. 💚 We loved watching our potion bubble over! 🫧🔮

🔥📖 A Magical Ending! We finished our spooky session with a tasty snack and a story around our magical green campfire. The perfect end to a frightfully fun morning! 💚

🧡 A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Halloween woodland adventures! We loved exploring, creating, getting messy and making magical memories with our Wonder Bugs. 🎃🍄

🎪🌿 IMPORTANT UPDATE: CIRCUS IN THE WOODS 🌿🎪 SESSION CANCELLED 😞

Unfortunately, due to the forecast of potential high winds and heavy rain, tomorrow’s Circus in the Woods session (Monday 26th October, 11am–12.30pm) has been CANCELLED. 🌧️💨

I’m so sorry for any disappointment, especially for those little ones who have been looking forward to this special session!

The weather forecast seems to be changing by the hour at the moment, and whilst I’ve been keeping a close eye on it, I don’t want to leave the decision until the last minute and risk families travelling to a session that may not be safe or enjoyable.

As much as we love getting outdoors in all weathers at Wonder Bugs, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans! 💚

The potential combination of strong winds and heavy rain means it simply wouldn’t be the experience we want it to be. It could also compromise the safety of our families and session leaders, as well as risk damaging the specialist equipment Nikki from Starlight Circus would be bringing along.

Outdoor play is all about embracing nature, but safety, enjoyment and looking after our wonderful session leaders and their equipment will always come first. 🌳

If you’re booked onto the original session, you’ll have these options:

💚 Receive a full refund.
🐛 Keep your booking credit to use towards a future Wonder Bugs session.

📧 Everyone booked onto the session has been emailed, so please check your inbox and reply to let me know your preferred outcome.

Thank you so much for your understanding, patience and continued support. We can’t wait to hopefully bring some circus magic into the woods when the weather is on our side next spring 🎪

🌿🎪 CIRCUS IN THE WOODS – A LITTLE WEATHER UPDATE! 🎪🌿

Hello, lovely Wonder Bugs! 🐛💚

With the weather taking a turn and a storm predicted over the weekend, we just wanted to give everyone booked onto our Circus in the Woods session on Monday 26th a little heads-up that we may need to make a small change to our plans. 🌧️🍃

✨ The good news? If it’s just a little rain, as currently predicted for Monday, the session will still go ahead! All our wonderful circus-inspired Wonder Bugs activities will still be set up, ready for a magical woodland adventure. 🌳🍄

🎪 The only possible change is that the specialist circus equipment being brought along by Starlight Circus cannot get wet. This means that, depending on the weather, we may not be able to offer this part of the session.

If this does happen, please don’t worry! The additional £1.50 special session charge will be refunded to you on the day. 💚

🌦️ And this is the nature of outdoor play! 🍂🌿 We work with the seasons, embrace a little mud and adventure, and sometimes have to be flexible when Mother Nature has other plans! We’ll always do our best to make the most of whatever the weather brings. 💚

📣 What happens next?

Please keep a close eye on our socials over the weekend for updates. We’ll also send an email on Sunday to everyone booked onto the session, confirming whether any changes need to be made - please check inboxes/spam

We’re keeping everything crossed for a little woodland sunshine! 🤞🌤️ Whatever the weather brings, we’ll do our best to make it a lovely experience for our little Wonder Bugs. 🐛🌿🎪

Thank you so much for your understanding, and we’ll be in touch on Sunday! 💚✨
