I'm close to self publishing a book of photographs celebrating the people of Merseyside: It's to be called A Touch of Scouse and should be out in October. I think it would be interesting to alternate my photos with quotes by people who live or have lived on Merseyside about their experience of the place and/or the people who live there. It's an affectionate and very positive book - if you would like to contribute someting upbeat of up to 100 words and would like to see it (possibly) in print, please send it to me by email with your name and your permission to use it. Malton Food Festival is the place to be the last weekend in May and really beats the York Food festival for atmosphere. Here's a few pics of the Kaminari Taiko group having a great time....
