Watermead Lake never disappoints 🌿✨

One of the things I love most about shooting here is how much variety it offers. As you swipe through these images, you'll see just how many beautiful little spots are tucked away around the lake. It's such a versatile location and always one of my favourites to photograph!

And of course, having Olivia and Dan in front of the camera made it even more special. They absolutely radiated joy throughout their maternity session, and it was such a privilege to capture this exciting chapter of their story. They both looked incredible, and the love and anticipation they have for their little one shines through in every image.

✨️✨ Olivia and Dan️✨️✨️

Aren’t they just beautiful together? 🤍 Olivia is absolutely glowing and makes pregnancy look so effortless — and she has the sweetest perfect bump

We planned their session just before sunset to make the most of that gorgeous golden light (while skipping the main heat of the day!), and everything came together perfectly.

✨ What can you expect from a Cake Smash Photoshoot? ✨

We start with some beautiful family photos and portraits of your little birthday star, which usually takes up around half of the session ❤️

Next, it's time for an outfit change and a few more portraits before the main event... the cake! 🎂

Some little ones dive straight in, while others need a little encouragement. Don't worry if they're unsure at first – parents are often called upon to get involved and show them how it's done (yes, that usually means getting a little messy too! 🤭).

I absolutely love photographing cake smashes outdoors, surrounded by nature. For those chilly winter birthdays, I also have a cosy home studio setup that's perfect for capturing all the fun without worrying about the weather ❄️

Riya's first birthday cake smash photoshoot 🎂🤍

I absolutely love an outdoor cake smash session — beautiful scenery, plenty of space to explore, and the perfect backdrop for capturing those special first birthday memories.

Riya was such a sweet, funny little girl, with the most adorable curls. She really got stuck into her cake smash too! At one point she picked up an entire layer of the cake and proudly carried it around. 😂

The cake was definitely a hit, although the blueberries didn't get quite the same seal of approval! 🫐✨

One of my favourite things is to capture the little details in my shoots. Here it's the shoes, the rings , the gorgeous back of the dress, the hand holding during vows - those details that capture the memory of the whole day and make it even more special

Shout out to the amazing shoes too - and I made her walk over many cobbles!!

Claire & Andre 🤍

My very first wedding!

I was so pleased when Claire and Andre reached out and asked me to photograph their special day. It was a lovely intimate wedding with just a handful of guests, and everyone was so welcoming and kind.

Claire and Andre were an absolute joy to photograph. They spent the day laughing together, completely relaxed and so clearly in love. It was such a privilege to capture these memories for them and be part of such a special day.

The last few photos from Ameena's cake smash shoot 🎂🤍

I absolutely loved this session! Ameena was such a happy little girl — always smiling, full of personality, and thoroughly enjoying all the fruit.

We were lucky to have such a lovely day for the shoot too. It wasn't too hot, and we even had some beautiful moments of sunshine that made everything feel extra special.

It was so lovely meeting you all and capturing these memories for you. Such a beautiful little family 🤍
