Alice & Adam 🤍

Today these two are on my editing screen, and I have to admit… I’m feeling quite emotional going through Alice’s pre-ceremony moments.
There’s something so powerful about that time before everything begins - when all the anticipation of the day rises to the surface and emotions are right there, ready to spill over. And they did, in the most beautiful way.
Quiet moments with her mum helping her get ready. Her dad seeing her in her dress for the first time. Best friends completely overcome with love and emotion. It was all there — raw, real, and unforgettable.
I feel so grateful to be in the wings for moments like these. Not directing, not interrupting - just witnessing and capturing it as it naturally unfolds. Because the most meaningful moments are never staged.
It always takes me back to my own wedding… walking down the aisle, completely overwhelmed, bawling my eyes out - so much so that everyone started laughing (including me). But those feelings? You never forget them.
And that’s the true story I want your images to tell.

The most beautiful finishing touch.

Rowan & Matt Rowan Roblyn Matt Allen chose stunning dried flowers by Helen at Little Park Farm Everlastings - from bouquets to delicate hair pieces and table arrangements, every detail felt thoughtful, natural, and completely in tune with their day.

What I love most about dried flowers is that they don’t fade away after the wedding… they stay with you. Little pieces of the day you can keep forever.
Such a perfect, sustainable choice for a truly meaningful celebration.

Rowan & Matt
This sunny April day. Set at the stunning On the Hill, surrounded by nature, laughter, and so much love for two truly beautiful humans.
Their ceremony was something special - a handfasting led by Sabine from Perfect Day Ceremonies, rings passed through every guest for blessings, and the most heartfelt singing led by Rowan’s mum Emily (Spectrum Choir, Exeter). You could feel the meaning in every moment.
And then the energy lifted - a full-on ceilidh with Slack ma Girdle, feet flying, joy everywhere… and yes, Rowan & Matt (along with some very brave guests) jumping through a burning heart of fire.
We snuck away up the hill at sunset to breathe it all in — the view, the quiet, the “just got married” feeling. Pure magic.
A wedding that was completely, unapologetically them — full of intention, community, celebration, and love in its truest form.
So grateful to have captured this important day for them.

India Bourne and the Big Skirts at Outside - Devon - what a night.

The music was sublime.
India’s voice was phenomenal - powerful and effortless all at once - and hearing her beautifully crafted songs sung live with the full band was something special.

A brilliant crowd, an incredible setting, and one of those gigs I’m genuinely glad I didn’t miss.

Grateful to be part of an evening like this.

2025. What a year. Many highs and lows but mainly it will be remembered by me as the year that cancer took my Dad. Despite the terrible sadness of this I want to remember the good bits, the family holiday with Dad, their 50th Wedding anniversary party, and the times spent with family.

It was a jam packed year with some of the nicest couples and families I have ever worked with. Big shout out to everyone who trusted in me to photograph their big day, despite my inability to showcase my talents on Instagram! And to all the other photographers who I worked with this year – you are all ace.

Cheers to all the venues who were so helpful and friendly and kept us photographers well fed and watered especially when working on some of the hottest days of the year.

This was my 12th year of photographing weddings and one of the best, as the right clients are now finding me for the work that I enjoy doing so much. For me, your wedding is not about what it looks like on Instagram, it’s how it feels on the day. That’s why I photograph in a documentary style so that you can just enjoy all the moments and rest assured that I will capture the fun, the emotions and the beautiful stuff, no awkwardness. I will capture all of your guests and all the important people to you having a great time and not just focus on insta worthy couple shots. I want the photos to mean something to you years down the line, for you to feel the love all around you.

Enjoy the roundup slideshow, I’ve loved making it and looking back at all the fun.
I still have a few key dates left in 2026 so get in touch if you want some relaxed but awesome wedding photos.

Not only was this one of the best weddings of 2025 it was one of the best ever. Festival vibes, colourful outfits, crazy dancing, eco-friendly, camping, sunsets and great food. Bradstone Manor was the perfect venue and they couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. Cat and Matt love a festival, music, family and friends and their day was so full of love and fun and everything they stand for.
They wanted real memories of real moments and there were no posed photos other than a few family group shots. I loved capturing the fun on the dancefloor and everywhere else. So many photos I didn't know which ones to pick.
