Myself and Callum McKenzie have been busy hanging all the photos for the Stirling Photography Festival exhibition at Weigh Ahead today. 📸 EXHIBITION ANNOUNCEMENT! 📸

We are really excited to announce 'A Journey into Scottish Wildlife', a new collaborative exhibition by myself WildScot Photography and Callum McKenzie at Weigh Ahead Gallery as part of the Stirling Photography Festival

The exhibition brings together a selection of wildlife images from across Scotland, featuring incredible wildlife from high up in the Scottish Highlands to far out on the Scottish Isles.

From long days spent out in the field to those unexpected moments that make wildlife photography so rewarding, each image has its own story behind it. We're both looking forward to bringing these images together and sharing them with you.

📍 Venue: Weigh Ahead Gallery, Upstairs, 91-95 High St, Dunblane

Proud to be taking part in the Stirling Photography Festival this year both by delivering a workshop for beginners and by holding an exhibition at Weigh Ahead in Dunblane- more info soon

📸 Meet Michael Cook, founder of WildScot Photography, and a finalist in the 2025 British Wildlife Photography Awards.

Based near Stirling, Michael recently launched WildScot Photography after an inspiring career spanning finance and charity leadership, serving as CEO of a national environmental charity. In 2026, he followed his passion and became a full-time wildlife photographer.

Michael also leads wildlife photography workshops and guided experiences, helping photographers of all levels develop their skills while exploring Scotland’s remarkable wildlife. We are delighted he will lead a workshop on the beautiful campus of the University of Stirling, as well as exhibit at Weigh Ahead Gallery in Dunblane, during this year’s festival.
