What if you stopped worrying about how you look… and focused on how you FEEL instead?

So many of us spend our lives living in our heads.

Overthinking.
Overanalysing.
Wondering what everyone else thinks.

Chakra Dancing is an invitation to come back into your body.

To move because it feels good.
To breathe a little deeper.
To let go of perfection and simply be present.

✨ Join me this Saturday 18th July
10am-11:15am

or at one of my Wednesday Evening Reset classes - 7:30pm - 8:45pm

💃 No routines.
💛 No dance experience needed.
🌸 Just movement, music and a welcoming space to reconnect with yourself.

Definitely pulled a muscle here! 🤣🤣⚽️
So… is it coming home? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I actually filmed and edited this before the match, so by the time you’re watching this, England have either made me look much better… or much worse. 😂

I don’t think I’ve kicked a football in about 25 years, which is painfully obvious I know .
I now have a pulled leg muscle to prove it. 🤣🫣

But do you know what?

I had SO much fun. 🤩👏⚽️

It made me think that somewhere along the way, so many of us stop doing things we’re not already good at.

We avoid looking silly. We avoid failing. We avoid being beginners.

Children don’t think like that.

They just have a go.

Imagine how much more fun life would be if we all gave ourselves permission to be beginners again and gave ourselves permission to fail!?

That’s something I’m learning to do again as I train to become a transformation coach. I’m now constantly asking myself “what would be so much fun and a little stretchy to do?”
It’s exciting, it’s scary but absolutely worth it.. even if I do pull muscles along the way. 🤣

As part of my training, I’m offering two free 45-minute coaching sessions for people who want to bring more JOY into their lives and stop self sabotaging.

If that sounds like you, pop me a message. 💛

I’m making some ROARsome changes around here…

After six years of building my videography business, I’m making a big change.

Video isn’t disappearing completely, but it’s stepping into the background while I step fully into coaching and embodied dance work.

To be honest with you…

I’m scared to say that out loud.

Scared of what people might think.

Scared of stepping away from something I’ve worked so hard to build.

Scared of risking the life I’ve created for something completely different.

But underneath all that fear is something much stronger.

A deep knowing.

The kind that won’t leave you alone.

When I look back over my life, I can see that everything happened for a reason.

Every job.
Every challenge.
Every person I met.
Every chapter gave me a skill, a lesson, or a nudge towards the next one.

For 10 years I stayed in a job that I knew wasn’t right for me because I didn’t think I was capable of anything else.

Then I found videography.
Video gave me confidence, freedom, creativity, friendships, opportunities and a business I built from scratch.

It taught me how to market, communicate, sell, create, connect, direct and allowed me to be creative and it mostly taught me how to step out of my comfort zone.

I’ll always be grateful for it and as I said, it’s not going away completely, I am continuing to take social media content clients whether that’s training, event coverage or personal shoots because this still excites me.

The reason I know that this change in direction feels right though is because looking back, I can see that I spent a lot of these years as a videographer striving.
Trying harder.
Pushing more.
Wondering what was wrong with me.
Wondering why things felt harder than they seemed to for everyone else.
I thought I needed to fix myself.

What I know now is that nothing was wrong with me.
I simply hadn’t found the thing I was truly meant to do.

For the first time in my life, I know what that feels like.
It feels calm.
It feels exciting.
It feels natural.
It feels like coming home to myself.

The work I now do through coaching and dance lights me up.
It energises me.
It feels effortless in a way that I never knew work could feel.

Not because it doesn’t require effort, but because it feels aligned with who I am.

So here I am.
Taking a deep breath.
Following the path that’s calling me.
And trusting that all the chapters before this one happened exactly as they were supposed to.

To everyone who has been part of my journey so far - clients, friends, family, colleagues, mentors and supporters - thank you.
Every single one of you helped me get here. Thank you doesn’t really cut it but I am hugely hugely grateful.

And in case you’re wondering… She Roars isnt going away, (theres no way I could say goodbye to this amazing branding by Trudie Avery) Nope, She Roars was always meant to be AND… it’s transitioning to a new era. A new era of empowering women to roar like never before through coaching and dance.

Coming along for the journey? I’d love to stay connected.
If it’s not for you, then I’m cool with us going our separate ways - this will not be for the faint hearted! 💪.
