Visiting Aberdeen from Manchester for Christmas and ended up getting snowed in thanks to the train cancellations and weather but I always see that as an excuse to explore with my camera.

This shot shows the River Dee frozen beneath King George VI Bridge. There’s something dark, dramatic, magical and beautiful about Aberdeen in winter, and I’m really glad I got to experience it like this.
