Not next week, not next month, but 12 months from now.

Will photography still be my main source of income, or is the world increasingly moving towards video?

I genuinely don’t think Whiteford Point gets the recognition it deserves… 🌊

After hours of walking across shifting sands in the Gower, I finally reached one of Wales’ most unique landmarks. The conditions weren’t what I’d planned for, but sometimes that’s exactly when the best images happen.

These are a few of my favourite frames from the day, from quiet details hidden in the dunes to a perspective of the lighthouse that most people never get to see.

Perspective changes everything.

A road.
A valley.
A landscape I’ve driven through more times than I can count.

From the ground, it’s familiar. From above, it becomes something completely different.

The road no longer just connects places. It guides your eye through the landscape, revealing shapes, textures and light that are easy to miss from below. That’s what keeps drawing me back to aerial photography. Not because it’s higher, but because it offers a new way of seeing the familiar.

Sometimes all it takes is a different perspective.

Yesterday’s session was relentless. The heat took its toll on everyone in the gym, myself included.

More than anything, it reminded me of the direction I want my photography to take.

I’m rediscovering my love for looking beyond the obvious. Less documentary, more emotion. Less about recording a moment and more about telling a story.

The quiet moments between rounds. The fatigue. The focus. The determination to keep going.

That’s my approach to photography. Creating cinematic images that don’t just show you what happened, but make you feel something.

Having not posted as much this year, I thought it was about time I shared what I’ve been spending my time learning.

Photography has taken me to new heights… quite literally.

Over the past few days I’ve been pushing myself outside my comfort zone, learning a completely new way of seeing the landscape. Flying a drone has opened up perspectives I’d never have been able to capture from the ground and it’s reminded me that there’s always something new to learn.

These are a few of my favourite images from the past couple of days out, along with a short video at the end while I continue practising aerial filmmaking too.

It’s all part of the journey and I’m excited to see where it takes me next.
