Do you like roses?
There is a beautiful rose garden at Abbaye de Fontfroide... just 20 km from Maison du Coquelicot.

My walk this week, was an evening walk, with the vignerons from our village. We took a walk around the Heritage sites just beyond our little forest, just above the village.

Every year I help them with the organisation of two of their events.

This event, in June, is a walk around the vineyards to see the dry stone structures that are over two hundred years old. We learn what they are called and what they were used for.

Then we enjoy a wine tasting in the forest which is followed by a three-course picnic!! We even have chairs and tables!
