Cette plongée satirique dans le quotidien et le style de vie des Benzine Cyprine est un prétexte qui met en évidence l’influence des symboles et des choix figuratifs sur la construction archétypale des identités de genre.

Face aux attaques réactionnaires de plus en plus visibles et violentes contre les artistes, et surtout les photographes, «Libération», à l’occasion des Rencontres d’Arles, réaffirme son engagement.

Ça y est, maintenant c'est concret, l'exposition Benzine Cyprine sera reproduite et inaugurée le 27 juin à 18h30 à la Galerie Negpos. Elle y sera visible jusqu'au 15 octobre. Vous pourrez venir juger par vous même ce qui a fait trembler la médiocrité.

Je suis consternée…
Voilà ce que provoque les images de femmes fortes, extraverties et redoutables.
Il est important de ne pas banaliser ce type de médiocrité réactionnaire et que cette agressivité systémique soit dénoncée.

Pour celles et ceux qui ne sont pas abonné-es à Midi Libre je vous donnerai très vite plus d'explications sur ce qui s'est passé et ce que mon travail défend.

Here I shot the Benzine Cyprine when a do*****ag began to be provoking and asking for promiscuity off-camera. Some are still thinking that a woman standing outside without destination make herself available.
Maybe because this is still unusual to see women spending time on streets to take possession of their living places.
