Back in Paris from the south of France for the football final and the heatwave, neither of which I ordered from the menu!
It’s a blistering 31C and with only 2.5 hours to go before kick off the atmosphere is electric with excitement. Many already perspiring in their acrylic PSG T-Shirts in anticipation.
The cafe terrasses are packed with punters and Parisians quenching their thirst in the late afternoon heat.
However a beautiful door with the light on inside highlighting the stained glass foyer is a calm treat before what will ensure this evening.
