Yesterday my first bus was scheduled for 7.30am and now that I am familiar with the Cyprus bus system, early or not, they wait for no man or Paris Adèle ready to launch into a day trip adventure to Pano Lefkara. I over compensated but caught the first leg of my journey.

Just because I’m leaving Cyprus tomorrow doesn’t mean the adventures are over.

Today I was up at crows fart to catch an early bus to the gorgeous hillside village of Pano Lefkara.

Too tired to do a proper photo post but this might whet your appetite for what is to come.

Don’t mind my bull in a china shop stomping and breaking the early morning serenity of the village 😂

Some people do a pub crawl, yesterday I did a beach crawl.

I remember researching where to stay in Aiya Napa and it was a long, fraught with decisions task.

Google maps street view is out of date and it looked desolate and far from the beach. I was wrong and thankfully and unwittingly I had placed myself in the perfect location.

This is how it plays out.

You plan a relaxing few weeks on the island country of Cyprus to explore a little and relax on a beach or two.

The reality is that you bump into a comedian that you have never met, end up having a late night, catch the last bus home from a small fishing village with a weird driver and find yourself stranded on a remote highway where a bus stop doesn’t exist but have met a guy in a high viz jacket and pull a puppy dog eyes look to get a bus to stop in the middle of a highway and your bus pass doesn’t work.
