I always like to take a few quiet minutes with the bride just before the ceremony begins. It’s often the only moment of the day when everything is still calm. We take that time to create a few portraits, highlight the dress and the details, and simply mark this moment before the day really starts.
These often become some of my favorite images from the wedding day.

Last year, I had the privilege of traveling to Japan to photograph an editorial shoot. One of the gown we used was provided by a boutique representing Monique Lhuillier in Hong Kong.
A few months later the boutique manager told me she would be coming to Paris for her honeymoon… and asked if we could create something together again.
These images are the continuation of a story that started in Japan and found its way to Paris.

They came all the way from Boston to celebrate their wedding in Gordes.
In August, finding lavender fields in Provence is usually a challenge, most of them are already harvested in July. After quite a bit of scouting, I finally found this beautiful spot and it was absolutely worth it.
