📍First stop: Williamsburg’s Bushwick Inlet Park to play with the Manhattan skyline in the background. A little beach break, a quick stop at Leon’s Bagels, then back on the pitch for a second session around McCarren Park Track.

📍Located in the south of the city (Almas Roma), this pitch overlooks the Vulcano Laziale, the volcanic hills surrounding Rome.

While the complex has other pitches, there’s something special about these old hard grounds. The worn surface, the details of the goals, the textures underfoot. A different kind of beauty from the perfect green of a modern pitch.

And that’s exactly what we love about football fields.

A football day in Brussels 🇧🇪

We start around the Atomium, with a grass pitch and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks in the background. Right next to it, a tough synthetic pitch where the goals have recently been removed, but people still come to play and hang out. Before checking out the small city pitch at Osseghem Park.

Then, towards the centre, a small 5-a-side pitch and the football spots around the athletics track at Parc du Cinquantenaire.

We end the day at vintage football shops downtown, spotting a few more pitches from the antique district to Saint-Gilles.

A day of football in all its Brussels diversity, just the way we like it. 🥰🎞️

The No. 10 was everywhere, on shirts, on tattoos, on people who had made Messi part of their own story.
