Lara // Jamie
There is something very special about capturing someone’s wedding day at their childhood home. It’s so personal. Being able to capture the father of the bride quietly reading his speech on the swing Lara had played on as a kid. Getting married under the silver birch her dad had planted. The laidback relaxed atmosphere where everyone comes together and chips in. No pressures of strict timelines, with no real expectations as unlike a venue they haven’t ever done it before which allows the day to flow, the chairs not having to be perfectly aligned because really none of these things matter. Have we lost touch of that in recent years? Weddings are about you and your loved ones coming together and celebrating that. The experience doesn’t have to be grand and “perfectly curated” for it to be perfect.
Loved this day.
