Paris, the night of the historic back-to-back. 🇫🇷🏆🏆

Documenting the aftermath of this second consecutive Champions League title against Arsenal wasn't just about photographing a celebration; it was about immersing myself in an unpredictable wave. The atmosphere in the streets was overwhelming, driven by an uncontrollable mix of collective euphoria and raw tension.

At times, the mood shifted, becoming aggressive and wild, as is unfortunately often the case. But right alongside that friction, there were moments of incredible warmth and respect. Bursts of laughter suspended in the smoke of the flares, a fleeting kindness born on the concrete, and people looking out for one another as the night spun out of control.

These layouts don't seek to provide answers. They simply capture the fragments of what happened, in all its raw and elusive complexity. The pulse of a night where everything could tilt from one moment to the next. It’s the visual imprint of a Paris under high tension, suspended between shadow and light.

Paris, la nuit du doublé historique. 🇫🇷🏆🏆

Documenter l'après-match de cette deuxième Champions League consécutive contre Arsenal, ce n'était pas juste photographier une fête ; c'était s'immerger dans une vague imprévisible. L'atmosphère dans les rues était totale, dictée par un mélange incontrôlable d'euphorie collective et de tension brute.

Par moments, l'ambiance basculait, devenant agressive et sauvage, comme c'est malheureusement souvent le cas. Mais juste à côté de cette électricité, il y avait des instants d'une convivialité et d'un respect incroyables. Des éclats de rire suspendus au milieu de la fumée des fumigènes, une bienveillance éphémère qui naît sur le bitume, et des gens qui font attention les uns aux autres lorsque la nuit s'emballe.

Ces collages ne cherchent pas à donner de réponses. Ils se contentent de restituer les éclats de ce qui s'est passé, dans toute sa complexité brute et insaisissable. Le pouls d’une nuit où tout pouvait basculer d'un instant à l'autre. C'est l'empreinte visuelle d'un Paris sous haute tension, suspendu entre ombre et lumière.

Paris in Color & Geometry 🔴🟡🔵

Street photography is all about catching those unexpected patterns and sparks in the urban gray. This series shot with the Leica M8 explores Paris through two lenses: bold color codes and raw geometry.

From the sharp lines of a crosswalk mirroring a striped pattern, to a vibrant red coat in the crowd, all the way to a quiet, gentle connection with a pup in a blue jacket... The city reveals itself in fragments.

There’s a unique depth to the way the M8’s CCD sensor renders these tones—making the colors feel dense, almost cinematic. It's a quick digital break from my usual film workflow, but just as satisfying.

Le saphir, la mémoire et le temps 🌊📸

C’est un rituel que je chéris : chaque année, depuis maintenant cinq ans, je viens lui rendre visite en Bretagne. Et chaque année, je ne peux m’empêcher de le photographier, pour capturer la force tranquille qui se dégage de lui.

Lors de ce dernier séjour, une autre amie l'a offert l'album Surfer Girl des Beach Boys. Un disque charnière de 1963, celui où les harmonies de Brian Wilson commençaient déjà à tracer la voie pour les Beatles.

Pendant quatre jours, le temps s'est arrêté. Il s'est installé dans son fauteuil, la pochette ouverte entre les mains, et a laissé son fidèle équipement remplir la chambre à plein volume.

C’était fascinant de voir la musique abolir les années. Ce n’était pas juste une écoute, c’était un voyage. Un rappel que les grands classiques n'ont pas d'âge : ils ont simplement une âme qui attend le bon moment pour s’exprimer à nouveau.

I wanted to try something: printing my photos of Paris to see if my digital workflow holds up against my Leica M6.

I searched for the “right balance” so that the shots from the Ricoh GR III would match the aesthetic of film photography. The grain, the transition in the highlights, the softness of the contrasts...

Paris: One Roll, Two Worlds 🎞️❄️

A week of radical shifts in Paris, all captured on a single 36-exposure roll. 🇫🇷

Transitioning from the eerie silence of last Thursday morning’s snow to the high-energy grit of the streets this past Tuesday. These two atmospheres feel worlds apart, yet they are bound together by the same strip of film and the same lens.

Shooting with the Leica M6 and the Elmarit 28mm means there’s no hiding—you have to be right in the middle of the frame, whether it’s through the slush or the midday rush.

The best part? The ritual. I home-developed this roll this morning and finished the scans earlier this afternoon. Seeing the raw grain of Kentmere 400 bridge the gap between the frozen city and the urban hustle is exactly why I still shoot analog. 36 frames to tell the story of a changing city.

Solitude in the crowd. 🌫️

The city is an assembly of closed worlds, where everyone carries a personal burden that overshadows the great ideals on display.

We walk past the whispers and the calls, absorbed by our own timelines, our own urgencies. Indifference is a cast shadow, even in the heart of the hustle.

And the only real smile is a motion blur, a promise of joy we don't take the time to focus on.

It is not the place that is monochrome; it is our gaze, constantly diverted.
