Today, Vuci Village in the Province of Tailevu came together in love, faith and fellowship to celebrate Father’s Day 2026 during Sunday Service at the Vuci Global Methodist Church.

This special celebration is not only for the fathers who are present with us today, but also for all the fathers who are away from home, overseas, in hospital, in prison, or those who have left their villages and families in search of greener pastures and better opportunities.

Though distance may separate us, love, prayer and family remain connected. Today, Vuci remembers and honors every father whose sacrifices, hard work and love continue to make a difference in the lives of their families and communities.

To all the fathers of Vuci, whether near or far — you are remembered, you are appreciated, and you are loved. Your strength, guidance, sacrifices and prayers are part of the foundation upon which our families and future generations are built.

Father’s Day reminds us that being a father is not only about providing, but also about leading with love, protecting with courage, teaching with wisdom and serving with humility.

May God continue to strengthen every father, bless those who are far from home, comfort those who are facing difficult times, heal those who are in hospital, guide those who are searching for a better future, and bring families closer together.

Today, family and friends gathered together in Vuci to celebrate, give thanks and share the joy of Father’s Day. May the spirit of unity, love and faith continue to grow within our village.

The Eighty Eight Productions is here in Darwin, Mate! Today was a special celebration as the Fijian community here in Darwin, together with some of our fellow Fijians from home, came together to celebrate the 18th Birthday of Juno, son of former RFMF Army Officer Major Tove, who is now serving in the Australian Army and based here in Darwin.

What made this celebration truly special was the way a Fijian-style birthday was brought to a foreign land. From the people, the laughter, the togetherness and the spirit of veiwekani, it was a beautiful reminder that no matter how far away from Fiji we may travel, our culture, our traditions and our Fijian identity remain close to our hearts.

🌴 You can take a Fijian out of Fiji, but you can never take Fiji out of a Fijian. 🇫🇯

Today was more than just a birthday celebration. It was a gathering of family, friends and community — a moment to share our culture, create memories and remind ourselves that Fiji is not only a place we come from; Fiji is a part of who we are.

Today we gather with heavy hearts to farewell the Late Retired Police Officer Mr. Atunaisa Bulivou Snr of Raralevu, Namata, Tailevu.

A man who dedicated his life in service to the people of Fiji, protecting communities with courage, discipline, and humility. His years in the Fiji Police Force reflected his commitment to peace, justice, and the safety of our nation.
To his beloved family, relatives, friends, and loved ones, may you find strength and comfort during this difficult time. The legacy he leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those he served and inspired.
