Africa has inspired me in ways very few places ever have.
Not only through photography, but through the people I’ve met, the conversations shared on long journeys, the traditions still alive, the connection to nature and the feeling that every road leads to another story waiting to be discovered.

It’s a continent that constantly challenges, teaches and inspires me creatively, and no matter how many times I return, I always leave feeling there is still so much more to see and understand.

These images are just small fragments of that experience.

Happy Africa Day, the land where the human story began.

En el Día Internacional de la Tierra queremos compartirles una selección de imágenes de nuestra expedición a la Patagonia, que acabamos de concluir la semana pasada.

Han sido días intensos en una tierra que no se deja explicar fácilmente. Paisajes que sobrepasan cualquier expectativa, una naturaleza viva, cruda y profundamente conmovedora. Nos regaló momentos que no se olvidan: pumas en nuestra primera tarde en el Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, manadas de guanacos, y cóndores —muchos— planeando sobre nosotros con una presencia imponente.

Pero la Patagonia no es solo paisaje. Es también su gente. Los gauchos, su cultura, sus tradiciones… y esa forma genuina de recibirnos como si fuéramos parte de su propia familia.

Gracias a cada uno de los que hicieron parte de esta experiencia. Por la confianza, por la energía, por compartir la mirada.

Orthodox Christmas, known as Genna, is celebrated today, 7 January, in Ethiopia, following the Julian calendar, which differs from the Gregorian calendar used in most of the world.

In Lalibela, one of the country’s most important pilgrimage sites, the day is marked by long hours of prayer, public blessings by priests, and candlelit gatherings. The celebration continues into the morning with communal cooking in the streets, where food is prepared and shared openly, reflecting the central role of faith, charity, and collective life in Ethiopian Orthodox tradition.

La Navidad Ortodoxa, conocida como Genna, se celebra hoy, 7 de enero, en Etiopía, siguiendo el calendario juliano, distinto al calendario gregoriano utilizado en gran parte del mundo.

En Lalibela, uno de los principales centros de peregrinación del país, la jornada está marcada por largas horas de oración, bendiciones públicas en las calles y reuniones iluminadas por velas. La celebración continúa por la mañana con encuentros comunitarios donde la comida se prepara en el espacio público y se comparte con todos, subrayando el valor de la fe, la austeridad y la vida colectiva en la tradición ortodoxa etíope.

Back from another unforgettable photography expedition in Kenya, feeling truly energised. Grateful to everyone who made this journey possible and to the wonderful group who join me. The wildlife, the landscapes, and the warm smiles of the Maasai made this experience one to treasure.

I’ve just returned from leading an unforgettable 14-day photography expedition across Namibia — and what a journey it was.

To the incredible group of photographers who joined me — thank you. Your passion, respect, and unique perspectives made this journey truly special.

This was more than a trip — it was a reminder of why we photograph: to connect, to learn, and to tell real stories.
