Sometimes you look at the weather forecast, wake up early hoping to enjoy a beautiful sunrise, and you see that it was completely wrong and there won't be a chance to catch some nice light.
Well, dramatic clouds could be great too, right?

I guess you can find any excuse to go out and take pictures. : )

Osaka Castle

Going to Osaka would be completely worth it even if this castle was the only place to see there. I need to go back to Japan during spring to visit this castle again while the cherry trees are in bloom

I went to the Sau Reservoir to take some pictures, trying to take advantage of the early morning light. When I was driving to the location, I realised that I would be able to enjoy the landscape, but not the light, since there were stormclouds. Even so, I decided to continue, because dramatic skies are spectacular too.
The best part of going out to do landscape photography is being able to enjoy the calmness, finding a point of view that I like and making the most of a fantastic place.

The Santa Fe del Montseny reservoir is a unique, inspiring place. During the Perseids meteor shower we decided to try to go to the Montseny massif to capture this moment. It was very cloudy and we almost couldn't enjoy this natural phenomenon, but we were able to enjoy the calm that this reservoir conveys.

Kaminarimon, thunder gate, is the outer gate that leads to the Sensō-ji, which is a Buddhist temple in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. As you enter through this door, there's a path full of shops; then, you get to the second door, Hōzōmon, and once you cross this second door you find the main hall of the temple, dedicated to Kannon, and a five-story pagoda.
We got there really late and it was raining a lot (I've never seen as much rain in my life as I've seen in Japan), most of the shops were closed and only a few visitors were paying their respects at the temple. There we learnt, thanks to a kind local person, how O-mikuji (a strip of paper with random fortunes written in it) worked.

The visit to Zaragoza was brief, but the wind and the cold could not stop me from taking a picture home :)
