For this week's "Wheelie Wednesday", I had to feature Marc Marquez following the announcement that he has signed with Ducati through to the end of the 2028 season.
At first glance, this might not look like the biggest wheelie you've ever seen, and you would be right, but there's much more to this shot than meets the eye.
It was captured during FP1 at Jerez, on the exit of Turn 1—a corner that has caught out plenty of riders over the years. Look a little closer and you'll spot the wet track surface, the rain tyres, and the lighter-tinted visor. That's right—Marc is hard on the gas in wet conditions with the front wheel still hovering above the tarmac.
Moments like this are a reminder of the extraordinary skill, confidence, and bike control that set the nine-time World Champion apart. With talent like that, it's no surprise he went on to dominate the Saturday Sprint race, crossing the line more than three seconds clear of the field.
Love him or hate him, there's no denying that when Marc Marquez is in full flow, he's something special to watch.

For this week's "Full Gas Friday", we have to celebrate the return of Álex Márquez to the paddock.

After a dominant victory in the Sprint race at Catalunya, suffered a horrendous crash in the main race that sidelined him for more than a month. His comeback this weekend in Czechia is a testament to his determination, physical conditioning, and sheer strength of character.

In a sport where confidence can be tested as much as the body, getting back on a MotoGP machine after a crash of that magnitude takes a special kind of courage. It's fantastic to see Álex back where he belongs—on the grid and ready to race.

Best wishes to Álex and all the riders for what promises to be another spectacular three days of world-class racing. Here's hoping for plenty of close battles on track, and, above all, a safe and successful weekend for everyone involved. 🏁🔥🙂

Huge thanks to the guys at Watersports Torrevieja for a fantastic blast on their jetski this morning. The session was organised perfectly by Clarissa and I was accompanied on the ride by Sori. The kit was in perfect condition, the team were friendly and extremely knowledgable. What else do you need for a spot of morning adrenaline? I highly recommend these guys and will be back soon myself 😎🏍🏄‍♀️

No "Wheelie Wednesday " this week but I have just received this fantastic news from MotoGP and had to share it :-)

MotorLand Aragon will continue to host the Aragon Grand Prix in 2027 following a new agreement between the Government of Aragon and MotoGP. The renewed deal was officially announced today, the 10th of June, at an event held in Zaragoza.

Although the renewal to host the Grand Prix is only for 2027, the circuit will remain part of the MotoGP structure as an official reserve circuit from 2028 to 2031.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP, said, “MotorLand Aragon has been an important partner for MotoGP for almost two decades, playing a key role in the championship’s presence in Spain. The renewal for 2027 reflects both the strength of that partnership and the value the event brings to the region. We are very pleased to continue working together and to keep Aragón as part of the MotoGP family in the years ahead as a reserve circuit.”

Happy "Full Gas Friday" with this montage of shots featuring Axel Bassani, better known to fans as El Bocia.

When is on track, it's genuinely difficult to take a bad photo. Whether he's pinning the throttle on corner exit, standing the bike on its nose under braking, or sliding spectacularly through the turns, Axel gives 100% every lap and always puts on a show.

With the impressive progress being made by the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team package this season, podiums are becoming an increasingly realistic target. If development continues at its current pace, don't be surprised to see either Axel or teammate Alex Lowes fighting for that elusive top step before too long.

One thing is certain: if there's action on track, there's a good chance is right in the middle of it! 🏍️💨📸

What a weekend for Tommy Bridewell and the Superbike Advocates team! 👏

Three top-10 finishes, including a career-best 5th place in Race 1, made for an outstanding weekend in the WorldSBK paddock. Tommy has worked tirelessly for this opportunity, and it was fantastic to see the former British Superbike Champion showcase his talent and determination on the world stage.

A superb all-round performance from rider and team, proving once again that when preparation meets opportunity, impressive results can follow. Here's hoping this is just the beginning of even bigger things to come for TB46 and the Superbike Advocates squad. 🔥🏁

This week we've taken the unusual step of sharing more than one image—and for good reason. When you combine a world-class rider, a world-class machine, and one of the most spectacular circuits on the WorldSBK calendar, choosing just a single photo becomes almost impossible!

So, rather than leave any favourites on the cutting room floor, we thought we'd share a few moments showcasing Iker doing what he does best—pushing the limits and keeping both wheels pointed in roughly the same direction... most of the time. 😉

Lots of fantastic racing over the weekend, but if you're looking for bar-to-bar battles, paint-rubbing overtakes, relentless slipstreaming, and absolutely no quarter given, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything better than the Blu Cru R3 Championship.

The fact that six different riders stood on the podium across the two races speaks volumes about the incredible depth of talent and competitiveness throughout the field. Every lap was a battle, every position fiercely contested, and every rider pushing to the absolute limit.

This championship continues to prove itself as a superb breeding ground for the next generation of motorcycle racing stars, providing a clear pathway for young talent with ambitions of reaching the highest levels of the sport, whether that's WorldSBK or MotoGP.

If this weekend was anything to go by, the future of motorcycle racing is in very good hands. 🏁🔥🏍️
