Save this for your future trip to Seville!

Seville is one of those cities that instantly steals your heart as a photographer. Warm colours, endless details, hidden courtyards, orange trees, beautiful light, and streets full of atmosphere around every corner. It feels like the entire city was made to be photographed.

What I loved most about Seville is that you do not even have to search for beauty here. The magic is everywhere. Early morning light hitting the historic buildings, locals slowly starting their day, tiny colourful streets, and golden sunsets creating the dreamiest glow.

My biggest tip? Slow down while exploring the city. Wander without a strict plan, take side streets, pause for a coffee, and truly take in the atmosphere. Some of the most photogenic places are often the unexpected ones you discover in between.

Tip for the upcoming long weekends…

No plans yet and looking for a photogenic day trip or weekend getaway? Then save the Opal Coast in Northern France.

A while ago, we laced up our hiking boots and set off on the Cap Blanc-Nez Belvédère loop trail from Escalles, and honestly… what a place.

Dramatic white chalk cliffs, rolling landscapes, fresh sea air, and views stretching all the way to England on a clear day. The kind of destination where, as a photographer, you want to stop every few minutes.

We had cloudy weather during our hike, so no golden glow for us. But instead we got moody skies and dramatic clouds, which honestly made the landscape feel even more cinematic.

Perfect if you love:
– breathtaking nature
– scenic hikes
– photography & content creation
– peaceful places & sea breeze
– destinations that still feel a little underrated

Practical tips:
🚘 Don’t forget your Crit’Air environmental sticker when driving in France
🅿️ Free parking at “Parking Haut Escalles”
🚶‍♀️ Distance: 10.1 km
🕒 Duration: approx. 2h45
🎚️ Level: intermediate: well-maintained trails
🍽️ End your hike with a drink or cosy lunch or dinner in the village of Escalles

Save this one for your next weekend getaway.

I know, I know… Lake Como is extremely popular and probably doesn’t need any extra exposure. But honestly? It really is as stunning as everyone says it is. And for photographers, it’s an absolute dream.

From elegant villas and charming villages to hidden corners and dreamy lake views… every little spot feels photogenic here.

If you’re planning a trip, I’d highly recommend visiting outside the busy summer season. Choose spring or autumn for softer light, fewer crowds, and a much calmer atmosphere around the lake.

Save this post for some of my favorite photo spots in Lake Como and swipe to discover them all.

It’s my birthday… the big 40!

And honestly, it feels like I’m only now really getting to know myself.  Or maybe… I’m just allowing myself to change. 40 doesn’t feel heavy. It feels softer. Clearer. Like having just that little bit more life experience to choose what truly matters… and let go of what doesn’t.

Last year, I got the opportunity to create a travel reportage about Brussels for a client. Which meant visiting the city multiple times in just a few weeks: wandering through different neighborhoods, searching for the most photogenic corners, and rediscovering the city through my camera.

And honestly? Brussels surprised me in the best possible way.

From iconic landmarks to hidden corners full of character, this city has so much more to offer than most people expect. So here are some of my favorite photo spots in Brussels. Swipe to see.

So definitely save this post for your next city trip!

I also recently updated my blog about a weekend in Brussels with new photos and extra tips, just follow the link in my bio.

And if you really want to discover Brussels beyond the highlights, I highly recommend checking out my friend , a true local who is launching her Brussels guide today!

Postcards of the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken

Each spring, the doors of the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken open for a limited time.

You wander through a unique mix of royal gardens and impressive glasshouses filled with light, greenery, and beautiful details at every turn.

Even though the most iconic greenhouse was closed for renovation this year, it was still absolutely worth it. The atmosphere alone makes it special.

Unfortunately, tickets for this year are already sold out, but definitely save this for your bucket list next spring.

And if you love flowers, make it a full day out: combine your visit with a walk through the magical Hallerbos, where a sea of bluebells turns the forest into something straight out of a fairytale. Only a 30-minute drive away.

Save this for later.
