on one early tuesday morning, I met this beautiful family at their favorite beach and watched them renew their vows after 10 years of life together. it was windy, a little chilly, and slightly cloudy, holding back the sunlight until the very end when the clouds finally cleared and the most beautiful blue sky graced the background, the sun providing a perfect warm glow. ☀️

the singer family in their neighborhood 🥖🦆 when I had the idea for this session, I wanted it to feel like a little piece of their everyday life here. feeding the ducks at the park, playing in the little mini city, walking around the neighborhood they’ve called home.

military moves happen so quickly, and I think sometimes it’s not until you’re gone that you realize how much the ordinary places meant to you. the park you walked to all the time, the places your kids loved. love how fun this session was, and the ending, “hasta luego” 😭 so cute.

j + l came back to spain more than 10 years after being stationed here. I love when people visiting from out of town find my work and make photos part of their itinerary. getting to capture them in a place that already holds so many memories, now with their girls beside them, is so so so special 🥹🤍

mei + travis were so gentle, sweet, and fun together. you could feel how deeply they love each other and how excited they were to meet their little one. the sweetest evening by the beach, with their fluffy white pup right there celebrating with them 🥹 love looking at the clips and seeing how happy they are together, and also how much I could make them laugh and feel comfortable during their session 🥰

phaedra + nathan, a love so sweet, gentle, and kind… ah what a dream! 🤍

phaedra reached out before their trip to rota wanting to surprise nathan with photos that captured just how in love they are, and that is exactly what this evening felt like. soft, joyful, deeply connected, a feeling experienced once in a lifetime. how grateful am I to have been the one the take these; a beautiful second chance at love, and such a gift to witness. 🥹
