HANDS! I was staring at my son’s hand x-ray on a screen this week when it hit me: I’m obsessed with hands and I don’t know what I would do without mine!
That thought hasn’t left me since. It’s the reason I bought a hand dictionary in Italy last week
by Bruno Munari, just on hand gestures used by Italians. It’s the reason I can’t stop
photographing my own hands in every light I find.
I love hands!
So small compared to the rest of us yet powerful
They feel.
They heal.
They caress, love, communicate.
They make sounds, play instruments, create.
They collect, carry, hold.
They protect.
They seal deals.
They give and they receive.
