This painting took me time, and it holds so much power in its details and in the depth of its meaning — where so often what we see is only the surface.
This woman cannot see with her eyes. And yet, she sees. Every fragment of her blindfold — lace, fabric, gold — is a layer of what we hide, what we protect, and can only find by looking inward.
This week I want to take you inside this piece, layer by layer, so we can discover a little more of her together.

I’ll be exhibiting at Art Zurich International this week, from May 8–10.

“Ethereal Beauty” will be part of the presentation a work exploring inner transformation and the space between what is seen and what is felt.

It’s part of an ongoing reflection in my practice, where different layers of identity and perception begin to shift and coexist.

Painted in 2020, “Tender Collapse” emerges from a moment when everything seemed to pause, yet quietly fall apart at the same time.

This work speaks of a gentle, almost imperceptible collapse—the moment something within us gives way, not from weakness, but from feeling too much, holding too much.

This painting opens a space to inhabit that discomfort, that pause, that intimate fracture we all go through.

This will be one of the works Jehan will present at the opening of Art 11 Gallery BKK.

Perhaps it’s not about avoiding collapse… but understanding what comes after.
