All across Brussels, the first signs of the upcoming Tour de France begin to appear, as early July brings two stages through the city – a long one and a short team time trial.

Überall in Brüssel zeigen sich erste Spuren der anstehenden Tour de France, die Anfang Juli mit zwei Etappen durch die Stadt führt – einer langen und einem kurzen Mannschaftszeitfahren.

À Bruxelles, des signes annonciateurs du Tour de France apparaissent à tous les coins de rue. Début juillet, deux étapes dont un contre-la-montre par équipes silloneront la capitale belge.

Bruselas ya empieza a vestirse de gala para el Tour de Francia. A principios de julio, la ciudad acogerá dos etapas de la competición: una jornada de ruta y una breve contrarreloj por equipos.

Once in a lifetime the Tour de France ended in Nice - not in Paris in 2024. The visitors of the Tour were rewarded with a great show at night!

A very special year at the Tour de France 2024, in Nice, France. Instead of Paris, the Tour ended in Nice. Captured on 35mm black-and-white film, part of my long-term analog project "Allez le Tour!"

🇩🇪Stunden vor dem Peloton füllt sich der Berg. Manche kommen zu Fuß, manche mit dem Rad. Für einen Tag herrscht auf dem Col de la Loze pure Festivalatmosphäre.
🇬🇧Hours before the peloton, the mountain fills up. Some come on foot, some by bike. For one day, the Col de la Loze is pure festival atmosphere.
🇫🇷Plusieurs heures avant le passage du peloton, la montagne se remplit. Certains viennent à pied, d'autres à vélo. Le temps d'une journée, un ambiance de festival règne au col de la Loze.
🇪🇸Horas antes de que llegue el pelotón, la montaña ya se va llenando. Unos llegan a pie y otros en bici. Por un día, el Col de la Loze se convierte en un festival en toda regla.

Many fans come with their own bikes to conquer this mountain the day before the race – some take a well-deserved break while others keep struggling.

Viele Fans reisen mit dem eige-nen Rad an, um am Tag vor dem Rennen ebenfalls den sogenannten „Berg der Schmerzen” zu bezwingen – und ruhen sich von der Strapaze aus, während andere noch kämpfen.

La veille de l’étape, de nombreux habitués du Tour s’élancent sur leurs vélos pour vaincre la mon-tagne; pendant que certains continuent de s’accrocher, d’autres profitent d’un repos bien mérité.

Muchos de los apasionados aficionados vienen el día antes de la carrera con sus bicicletas para conquistar la montaña; mientras unos están luchando, otros disfrutan de un descanso bien merecido.
