These 3 images from the Winter series are made with a medium format Mamiya camera.

Perhaps it doesn't say you anything but for a photographer there is something magical about shooting on film. Your shots are limited and you have to wait until the roll is developed to see what's on it.⁣

This tiny village covered in snow in Haute-Savoie in the French Alps reminded me on the landscape I saw in the Turkish movie called, Winter Sleep (2013). It's not the typical 'feel good' Xmas movie but a drama about the division between rich and poor. Despite the sad story, the landscape is so beautifully photographed, so peaceful as if beauty frozen in the ice.
