Countless cultures, numerous languages, endless forms of religion and beliefs. We all consider the way we live our lives to be normal, but what is obvious to some, might be alien to others. Meanwhile, as people struggle for their primary needs, others worry about modern issues that are created by new technology and luxury standards. Nature is respected and considered to be the mother of earth by some cultures while biodiversity is suffering from human threats and makes place for commercial industry. Where in some societies individuals are focussed on personal success, elsewhere the community is prior. For some the future is full of opportunities, for others it’s limited. But despite all the differences, there is so much similarity. Our primary needs, our search for happiness, love and recognition and the desire for a sense of belonging. Wherever you go, and whoever you meet, there is always beauty to be found. In people’s stories, in a person’s beliefs, in their experiences, their rituals, in words or in a simple smile. Other people’s lives can be eye-opening and full of insight. How is life elsewhere? This is what inspires Meanwhile. We experience, we capture, we share. Aiming to spread a message, inspiration or insight.
