✨ A daily walk that changed more than I expected. 🌊 🌿
What started as simple daily walks along the lake slowly became something more.
For two and a half years, I made it a habit to walk the shores of Lake Geneva, sometimes in silence, sometimes full of thoughts, sometimes just to breathe.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but step by step, something inside me was shifting.
Some days I walked with intention.
Other days, just to carry the weight I was feeling.
But every time, the lake was there. The wind took the things I couldn’t put into words,
and the water didn’t just reflect the sky; it started reflecting me.
Through seasons, through grief, through joy… I kept walking.
I learned that healing often happens quietly, without us even noticing.
Sometimes, it’s just quietly moving forward, even when you don’t know where you’re going.
Sometimes it’s just one step at a time, until your heart catches up.
If you’re looking for clarity, walk.
Find a rhythm. Find a way.
Or let the way find you.
2.5 years. Thousands of steps.
I thought I was just walking. But I was slowly noticing things I’d been too busy to hear.
Not all change is loud.
Some of it moves slowly.
But it stays.
