Such delicate beauty in motion 🦋 Butterflies remind us how gentle life can be. They live briefly, freely, and in harmony with nature. Showing us that even the smallest creatures add immense value to our world. Nature truly makes life richer.

Es ist fast Frühling. Die Blumen werden bald in voller Schönheit erblühen. Excited!

Step by step, the forest revealed its secrets 🌲
Every mushroom felt like a small reward for patience.
No rush. No noise. Just nature doing its quiet magic 🍄
Days like this remind me why I love being outdoors.

The Ashfall of January 2020

13/01/2026

January 12, 2020. A clear, beautiful and peaceful morning marked the beginning of one of the most significant volcanic eruptions in recent years. By early afternoon, Taal Volcano had erupted. The eruption began around 13:00 and lasted the following day and eased around 16:00. Authorities quickly imposed restrictions as warm, wet magmatic ash rained down on streets and rooftops.

Fortunately, the area we lived in was still just outside the 17-kilometer danger zone around the crater. It was one of the most challenging times as the hardest part came afterward. The damage to our area, the loss of livelihood and the uncertainty felt by so many families.

Some parts of the Sorpesee are literally frozen.
