A brief moment before the show.

For this shot I messed it totally up. I was so overwhelmed by the scenery and the sun breaking trough the clouds that when I changed to my tele lens that I didn't adjust my exposure. All of the images were blurry and I was so frustrated because I really have high expectations at myself and waited for such conditions a long time. Over the last months I looked so often at this image and It's still reminds me of my my failure but I like it. I really like it even when it's not perfect. Maybe sometimes we shouldn't be so hard to ourselves.

After hiking trough fog and rain we finally reached the top of the mountain but we had still no visibility. My whole body was shaking, freezing and in the night it began to snow. Luckily the clouds moved away for sunrise and we we're rewarded.

The wind at this evening was so strong that many times it blows my beanie away. Looks still quite okay in my opinion.

Beautiful and endless hikes in Mt. Rainier. It was a dream to hike trough this National Park with all these wildflowers.

From this glacier we could hear how the avalanches crack down of the glacier. Hard to imagine that this peaks are over 6000m high. I already died at not even 5000m. The view from there must be incredible! Visit Peru

Peruvian traffic. These folks es**rt us during our trekking tour through their home. Did you know that they were tamed about 5.000 years ago? They belong to the oldest pets in the world!
