Letzte Woche war ich beim Workshop von & und ich bin immer wieder inspiriert über die Art und Weise, wie andere Fotografen arbeiten und dass sich viele Gedankenwege kreuzen, aber manche Ideen in eine ganz andere Richtung führen. Viel wichtiger finde ich aber, dass man oft erst versteht, was der Künstler ausdrücken möchte, wenn man das ganze Werk sieht. ❤️ wie hier. Mati hat .wtr so vor das Fenster gesetzt und uns gezeigt, wie er mit Fensterlicht arbeiten würde. Mit dem späteren Wedding-Dress ist die Szenerie wie ein Getting-Ready. Minimal, ruhig, reduziert auf das Wesentliche. Es braucht keinen Schnick-Schnack, um diesen Vibe rüberzubringen. Danke für diese Möglichkeit! 🎞️🫶🏻

Last week, I attended a workshop by & , and I’m continually inspired by the way other photographers approach their craft. It fascinates me how many thought processes overlap—yet certain ideas evolve in entirely different directions.
What I find even more important, though, is that you often only truly understand what an artist intends to express once you see the complete body of work. ❤️ Just like here.
Mati positioned .wtr in front of the window and showed us how he would work with natural window light. With the addition of the wedding dress later on, the scene transformed into something reminiscent of a getting-ready moment. Minimal, calm, reduced to the essentials. It doesn’t take embellishment or excess to convey this kind of atmosphere.
