Keukenhof 🌷

World's largest tulip garden 🇳🇱

Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is located in Lisse, the Netherlands. It's one of the world's largest flower gardens. The park covers an area of 32 hectares (79 acres) and is home to approximately 7 million flower bulbs planted annually. While it's famous for its tulips, Keukenhof also features a variety of other flowers, including hyacinths, daffodils, lilies, roses, carnations, and irises.

The history of Keukenhof dates back to the 15th century when it served as the kitchen garden for Slot Teylingen Castle, providing herbs, fruits, and vegetables. The most notable resident of the castle was Countess Jacoba van Beieren. The current park was established in 1949 to showcase the flower bulbs of the Netherlands and has since become a major tourist attraction.

কিউকেনহফ নেদারল্যান্ডসের লিসে অবস্থিত, যা ইউরোপের বাগান নামে পরিচিত। এটি বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে বড় ফুলের বাগানগুলির একটি। প্রতি বছর প্রায় ৭ মিলিয়ন ফুলের চারা রোপণ করা হয়। টিউলিপের জন্য বিখ্যাত হলেও, কিউকেনহফে হায়াসিন্থ, ড্যাফোডিল, লিলি, গোলাপ, কার্নেশন এবং আইরিসের মতো বিভিন্ন ধরনের ফুল রয়েছে।

কিউকেনহফের ইতিহাস জানতে আমাদের ফিরে যেতে হবে ১৪০১ সালে, যখন এটি স্লট টেইলিংগেন প্রাসাদের রন্ধনশালার বাগান হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হত । এই বাগান থেকেই যাবতীয় মশলা, ফল এবং সবজি সরবরাহ করা হতো প্রাসাদে । প্রাসাদের সবচেয়ে সবচেয়ে বিখ্যাত বাসিন্দা ছিলেন কাউন্টেস জ্যাকোবা ভ্যান বেইয়েরেন। বর্তমান পার্কটির যে রূপ তা ১৯৪৯ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় নেদারল্যান্ডসের ফুলের বৈচিত্র্য প্রদর্শন করার জন্য এবং এটি এখন ইউরোপ এর অন্যতম প্রধান পর্যটন আকর্ষণ।

কিউকেনহফের অনন্য দিকগুলি হল:

The Stuttgart City Library, also known as Stadtbibliothek am Mailänder Platz, is a modern and iconic public library located in Stuttgart, Germany. Designed by Yi Architects and opened in 2011, the library is a monolithic cube with a grand physical presence, constructed out of pale grey fair-faced concrete and frosted glass bricks. It is organized as a department of the city's cultural office and comprises the central library, 17 city district libraries, and two bookmobiles.

The library's interior features a stark and sterile design, with an all-white inverted pyramid gallery hall lined with books, making it a popular destination for visitors and a subject of architectural admiration. The building is part of the Masterplan from Stuttgart 21 and has become a new cultural landmark in the city. The library offers a self-guided tour, and visitors can enjoy a great view of the city from the roof. The Stadtbibliothek Stuttgart has received recognition, including the national award as Library of the Year in 2013.

Color of Autumn 🍁

I like the vibrance of Autumn, it is like a warm embrace. It's a time to savor the fading light, the crisp air, and the symphony of rustle and crunch beneath our feet.



The place is Drachenfels. It is a 289 meter high mountain located in the Siebengebirge mountain range, about 10 kilometers south of Bonn, Germany.

♯ The name Drachenfels is derived from the German word for "dragon rock". This is because of a legend that says that a dragon once lived in a cave on the mountain.

♯ The train you can see in the video is a cogwheel railway that takes visitors to the top.
