Two years ago today I had to put my baby girl down after she struggled for four years with diabetes. The pain of her loss still brings me to tears when I think of her. My biggest regret is not having more photos of her and with her. I always welcome pets at photo sessions. They are family, and I feel it’s so important to capture them like we do our children. ❤️💕 (This photo was taken just after we first got her in Arizona. She was rescued by and joined our family. I am forever grateful she was with our family for a wonderful 9 years.) I do offer sessions in exchange for donations made to the above rescue organization. Happy Mother’s Day! These photos were taken of me and my kids right before we moved to Germany in 2020. It’s hard to fathom how much they have grown since, and how everyday they get closer to being on their own. 😢 Im so grateful for these memories, and continue to be grateful for the moments I get to spend with them, even as they get fewer and farther between with school, sports, and friends. Today I got to love on, get kisses and cuddles from, laugh with, and enjoy a day of togetherness and delicious food with my babes. I also got fuzzy cuddles from our fur-baby Wall-E, and I bought myself a new plant-baby (my orchid obsession continues). My daughter named her Veronica to go with my other 3 v-named orchids thanks to my kids. 😂 I hope everyone has a beautiful day celebrating or being celebrated. 💕
