Last month I spent time in Colombia’s coffee zone, just outside Pereira, following the harvest. I walked the rows with growers and pickers who’ve been doing this work for generations, watched them sort through branches with a speed and care that only comes from years of repetition. There’s something grounding about being around people whose days are shaped entirely by the land and the seasons.
