Following up to the latest video on a quick & dirty basic understanding “How to print in the darkroom”, I thought I should share the three frames I’ve shot of Willow, as well as the testprint (Grade 2.5 / 2s increments) and the final print (Grade 0 / 6s, Grade 5 / 6s) for a better visual understanding.

Since I’m spending quite some time in the darkroom this winter, I’ve decided to give you a “quick” 6.5min insight/guide in my process of developing and printing an analogue photo that I was able to shoot in Hamburg last summer of Willow Voges Fernandes ( ).

This video is for a basic understanding on how printing in the darkroom works. Some self-explanatory steps have been left out due to the length of the video even though it’s already too long.

I’m not a professional in the darkroom, I’m just having way too much fun printing photos and that’s what it’s all about, right?

…and I guess there’s probably a lot to do a different or even in a better way.
That being said, if you feel like giving advise, please share your thoughts!

Equipment I used:
• Delta100 @ Boxspeed
• M6 + 50mm Summilux

• chemicals (developer, stop bath, fixer)
• MGIV Multigrade IV RC 5”x7” Pearl
• Modular 70 Vario
• 50mm 2.8
