October is my favorite month of the year.

This was one of the looks I did when working as a make up artist. I felt a bit like the zombie lady in the mean girls movie. (That’s the one?) Halloween for most girls is cat nose make up and mini skirts paired with hot boys and drinks, I prefer a full face of skeleton and a hot chocolate. A few years back I would have had beer or Apple wine instead of the hot chocolate though 🤭🙃
Fun fact: I’ve never had a pumpkin spice latte in my life that I could recall. When the trend came to Germany I had gone vegan already and the mixtures in most drinks are made with milk powder, so I never did it. 🎃
Do you have any vegan pumpkin spice treats you can recommend your girl? Let me know 💃

Things have been pretty turbulent in the world for a while now. We all get overwhelmed and anxious from time to time and it might seem like we can’t find a spark of light in the moment we’re in. But there’s always hope for a better tomorrow and if we stick to it and give it our all we might see the sun come up and warm our hearts again.
This is a friendly reminder that none of us is perfect and no one expects us to be. If, then these people need a reality check but that’s a conversation for another time.
We’ve got this. I’ve got this. You’ve got this.
Sending much love to everyone!

Unflattering but fun angle 🙃
We’ve had our vet check up with June today. She essentially doubled since we were there two months ago, so pretty much since we have her with us.
She is healthy and happy, loves everyone and she’s a little star at the vet. It’s a great experience and we trust them very much.
Little tip in case you are in a hurricane / fire / tornado area and in need to prepare a Go-Bag: I’ve asked what medication I could bring for her if she gets hurt in case something ever happened to us, so we do have a little ration of pet pain relief now in her part of the bag. Normal Advil has a anti inflammatory that doesn’t work for dogs but the one we have now does. Also, her part is packed of course, mine isn’t even really started.
May all of you have a great start into your new week ❤️

She’s definitely growing guys 🤭
I hope she will stay just as silly though 🙃
Today I will continue packing emergency bags and checking for things we might still need in order to prepare for a possible evacuation, as there are two hurricanes dancing around us.
If you have any pet emergency bag tips, feel free to let me know ❤️
Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday! Much love 🙏🏻 @ Fairhope, Alabama

Throwback Date Drive
Throwback to our date drive, where we had a bit more than an hour off in between ’s crazy schedule, so we took a drive up the mountains for a moment of calm. Just the two of us looking down the mountains, sipping coffee and enjoying the view of something else for a change.
We still do that here, back home, when we get out immediately in the morning to beat the sun to a tiny adventure to the dog park or some sort of waterventure with June.
Thank you love for making time for us!
How are you guys keeping up with your relationships these days? @ Los Angeles, California

Who says you can’t have a good time when you don’t have all your teeth together huh? 🦷🤍☺️
This girl is driving me crazy right now! When she gets tired she’s all over the place and I just want to tackle her and cuddle hold her until she’s nice again. Two seconds after, she’s asleep at my feet. 🤭☺️

Just a little reminder that we are all just souls in different meat suits on this beautiful planet, trying to be our best version of ourselves as we go through life and all the things attached to the journey.
I’ve been feeling super rough the past couple of days and my has gotten the best of me, or rather my left set of eyelashes I should say.
Often times it’s easier to preach and support others than to give yourself the love so I’m writing this out here, to put it on the internet for others as a reminder and for myself to let these thoughts go get some well needed air.
Emotions are always valid, it’s how you choose to work through them.
Be as gentle and kind toward yourself as you can, only when you’re good with yourself you can be good with others.
Also a little thank you to the universe for sending us this little wonderful soul and thank you to for telling me we should definitely click her adoption profile. I almost missed it that night.
Also also, she’s probably a lot bigger than on this picture already. She grows so fast!
