What a ride! 🚴‍♂️ The day before the Cyclassics, we gathered for an awesome group ride organized by none other than _ as ride leader, hosted by and .de . It was the perfect way to gear up for the big race and connect with the community. Good vibes, great people, and plenty of kilometers – can’t ask for much more. 🙌

Thanks to everyone who joined, and big shoutout to Borja for leading the charge! Looking forward to the next one! 💥

Pre-race focus, stretching muscles, and those iconic pink and yellow kits—capturing the energy and determination of EF Pro Cycling before hitting the streets of Hamburg. 💪✨

While the race shots are amazing and great for telling the story of the action, these quieter moments around the race are what really capture the essence of cycling for me. The close-up details, the calm before the storm, and how fans can get so close to the athletes—it’s what makes this sport truly special. Sometimes, these moments tell an even more interesting story than the race itself. 🖤🚴‍♂️

Reconnecting with through the lens of the Nikon Z8 that I had the chance to test was a reminder of the ties that bind us beyond work. We shared an office space a few years ago and then crossed paths on countless bike rides post-pandemic.

Taking portraits with Christopher wasn't just about testing out a new camera; it was an opportunity to catch up, to dive deep into conversations that we've missed, and to share thoughts that stretched well beyond the frame. The photos? Just a beautiful excuse to spend quality time together, and oh, so worth it.

Recently, I had the chance to photograph , a talented tattoo artist based in Hamburg. As we chatted during the shoot, we reminisced about our first photo session together over ten years ago and marveled at how much both life and time have shaped us since. Is this the essence of coming of age? (Though typically meant for the youth, isn’t it?) It’s always fascinating to witness someone’s evolution, especially when you only reconnect every few years.

Sometimes, it's less about a concept and more about letting yourself go with the flow. Take a walk, look for the light, and then shoot the hell out of it.

Thanks

When we were young: a few images from my archive from a studio session with Jott. These frames talk of introspection, where solitude isn't emptiness but a canvas for self-conversation. It's in the embrace of quietude that we often find our loudest answers. The contrast in her serene gaze against the bold play of light and shadow speaks to the intricate dance of vulnerability and strength—how they coexist, each giving meaning to the other. As the light falls and retreats, it's a reminder that our softest moments are just as powerful as our boldest.

Cheap CTA: which one's your favorite? [1-9]

Had a fun time shooting with recently, testing out some new camera gear. It was fun shooting cycling with it, trying how things work with this camera, and seeing my workflow shift a little. Might talk about this more often soon. But you know me, I'm not the most technical pixel-peeping photographer out there.
