Despite the numbness caused by witnessing the genocide in Gaza, I managed to go out and capture some of the fireworks on New Year's Eve in Hamburg. However, I must say that the fireworks did not bring me joy, as I was constantly thinking about how many birds and other animals might have been harmed, or even killed. It goes without saying that the cries of the children of Gaza were always on my mind, serving as a backdrop to the image.
May the children of the world, especially those in Palestine, Ukraine, Sudan, Syria, and other war-torn countries, live in peace.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of wandering through the serene pathways of the Loki Schmidt Garden Botanical of University Hamburg. The garden's diverse collection of flora was truly a sight to behold. I couldn't resist capturing some of its splendor with my camera.
Each photograph tells a story of nature's intricate designs, colors, and patterns. These flowers, though silent, spoke volumes to me. Sharing them here for all of you to experience a piece of that magic.

Preparing to welcome Spring

It is fascinating to see people praying on the water.
Last year I went home for a short period and used every chance to capture some beautiful moments.

Inspiration:
"Take due care of all the prayers, and the middle prayer, and stand before Allah in total devotion.
But if you are in fear, then (pray) on foot or riding. But when you are in peace, recite Allah’s name as He has taught you what you did not know." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 238-9)
