RO_Photography

RO_Photography Hobbyist photographer from Germany here, and id like to share with you some of my perspectives of certain genres of photography created over the years. :)

Hello all. :)

Names Rick. Been doing photography, although hobbyist wise on and off, for the past 5 years. Started back in 2012 when i got my first compact camera and then started to busy myself with taking pictures and editing them. Over the years this has developed into a hobby of mine, which i can combine really well with my travels, day to day routine and hikes. This has also led me to start

doing urban exploration, which combines both my interest in more morbid, interestingly dark motives with the curiosity aspect. Ive initially shared my art pieces on DeviantArt and otherwise with my friends and family. So now ive decided to expand my network into FB here, so i can now use a platform with a more broader reach and present my pieces to a broader audience. Ive graduated from a compact camera to a bridge camera to now a DSLR, a Nikon D5600. I also take shots with my phone whenever i dont have it on me. Keep note if i dont update my page regulary with new art pieces or when the pieces i edit are from travels or experiences of years past. Due to me also being tied down with RL responsibilities or other hobbies, i may not be able to update so frequently. Please keep this in mind though. Enough introduction wise, welcome to the page. :) Hope you enjoy my selection of art pieces. Feel free to share or comment. Otherwise fair seas to you. :)

Rick.

Time to get back into the of ! (As usual with )
Shot this photo on a back in August 2020 in my town during a with some friends.
Although, as per usual, there was a fair degree of (as to be expected), i was still able to work around it. Like with this one of the and . As an added , the clouds gave room around the , shrouding it and the stars within in an almost veil-like vignette.
Can make you almost think you´re looking at gas clouds out in , huh? ;-)
May follow up on this with a milky-way shot later.
Cant wait for the new 2021. ^^
Enjoy and CS.

Within one´s sight.
Covered in ordinary
Surprising detail

This i afforded myself a new upgrade with the lense Sigma 105 mm F2,8 EX Makro DG OS HSM for future and for future concerts.
With mobility restricted at the moment due to COVID, I decided a few weeks ago to test the macro function with some close-up shots of green moss on a low rooftop covered in and .
Weirdly enough, one of the shots, this one, gave off the visual illusion of it being some sort of grassy converse imo. It still fit well with my goal of capturing the detail of the ice crystals along with the green texture of the moss.
Still had my practice cut out for me with adjusting focus and sharpness with this close-up shot, even with the individual focal ranges. But this one did turn out good for a first macro-shot with this lense...^^

In these trying times, the of must live on...

On 25-26.09.2020, at the Musikklub 14/1, the MetalCrew hosted, in cooperation with the club, the Armageddon Herbst 2020 music weekend, celebrating and providing a for bands of the towns and scene. This was the replacement event for the canceled this year....
Despite the severely wet weather on that weekend, the singers and bands of Scratched Silenc Hias, the newly formed group Dunning Kruger, Entoria and homebased PAF band Sacrifice In Fire provided plenty of and fire to and thrash to.
It was once again great and fun for me, since last years Crewsade of Metal, to be shooting some again. Caught some unique shots and with this special occasion.
In the gallery you´ll find the folders for each individual band that played. Links are below for quick access.
