------------------------
Whilst not much is happening here at the moment, there’s actually quite a lot going on behind the scenes.
Just under half of the line-up for Burgbrand 2027 is now booked. The rest currently consists of emails, phone calls, Excel spreadsheets, ideas, a few no's, counter-offers and the realisation that bands actually want to get paid.
What a surprise.
Just like every year, we’re trying to cobble together a line-up within our budget that we’d happily spend three days watching ourselves. Big names matter less to us than bands that fit the Burgbrand and are up for all the fun and nonsense.
Some candidates have been on our list for quite a while. Others only turned up in the last few weeks. And with a few more, we’re currently figuring out whether wishful thinking and reality can somehow meet in the middle
The next batch of bands is coming in early December.
Until then: emails, spreadsheets and a few beers.
