Joseph’s Dream Leonardo.🧡
Moments from another beautiful morning in Namibia.
Waking up at 5:30, stepping out into the field before sunrise, waking up the ostriches. The grass covered in tiny drops of water and Annika and I walking quietly through the bush, searching for the right place to stand before the young horses were released into the field.
These mornings brought me back to the roots of my photography—to the feeling of why I ever started. It was never about perfection. It was about being there. Fully present. Experiencing nature and horses as they truly are. The beauty of those mornings is something words can’t quite describe.
And even though I didn’t capture many “perfect” shots that day, I left feeling fullfilled. Grateful to have been there—with the horses, the animals, the sounds of nature, and Annika.
Somewhere along the way, I realized that morning, I started chasing ‚perfect’ images, Photos that might perform better, please more people. And in doing so, I drifted away from what truly matters to me. The joy never fully disappeared—but that deep fire and my passion, wasn’t the same.
Namibia changed that.
Those mornings gave it back to me.
I’m deeply grateful—for this experience, for this place, and for you, Annika, for sharing it with me. This place didn’t just stay in my memory, it found its way into my heart… and into my soul.
I’ll carry this feeling with me.🙏💛
