Nothing is as fascinating as an octopus! Yesterday I watched one "parachute" hunting...
It stretches the webbing between its limbs to form a canopy that traps hiding prey like crabs and shrimp. .
Then it blows strong jets of water from its siphon (mantle) into small holes and cracks to force hidden animals out into its waiting web. Once the prey is trapped or feels around blindly beneath the web, the octopus pulls the food toward its mouth. Gotcha!
