𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧 📸

Hard to believe it’s been 15 years. Feels like yesterday - high school chaos at the Pasig Division and NCR Regional press conference. Over 60 students chasing the perfect shot, and me holding onto a worn-out film camera like it was my lifeline.

That day changed everything. I started shooting nonstop after that. Joined our school publication, entered my first contest—and somehow won. Then another. And another. I just kept going.

I wouldn’t have made it without my friends and teachers constantly pushing me: “Go, Val. You got this.” Looking back at these old photos now hits different. I was awkward, still learning, still clumsy—but the love for photography was already there.

Now at 29, that same passion is still burning. Strong enough to finally start my own photography page and keep chasing stories through my lens. From film to digital, from then to now—the feeling never changed.
