Hello, my name is Chrysanthi, and I am a part-time singer-songwriter. Ever since I was a child I have been writing and singing songs, accompanying them with music. I learned to play the guitar, and spent my high school years performing at talent shows and competitions.
In 2023, I released my debut album, 𝘈𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘴, which consists of 11 songs combining elements from new folk, greek pop, entechno and contemporary laiko.

I joined CMA's ethnographic training program in order to meet with other Cypriots passionate about Cypriot folk music and about preserving our oral culture and tales. With the support of the training, I am hoping to gather stories from my family about our ancestors, so as to keep their spirits alive.
CMA is doing fantastic work in the creation of Cypriot traditional music archives. Their efforts to create an open-access digital library will be invaluable for future generations.
