Nicholas Loizou

Nicholas is from Cyprus and he is engaged with the art of photography since his young age. He was always intrigued by light and shadows. Make you curious.

Currently, he is a passionate filmmaker who delivered his love for cinematography and stills photography throughout the years. After discovering the moving image he was thrilled and started searching and learning about it. In 2011 Nicholas decided to move to the UK to pursue his dream of becoming a cinematographer. He did his studies in UK at Bucks New University were he graduated with 2.1, studyi

ng “Film and TV Production”. Now, he is an industry professional photographer and director of photography, working in short films, feature films, documentaries, TV commercials, TV series and corporate videos. Being in the UK he felt the need to bring along the students from Cyprus that study Filmmaking in UK so he created the Young Filmmakers Society of Cyprus. In addition, while he was there, he was titled as “associated director” of a local filmmaking network called The Ellipsis Network. Coming back in Cyprus, Nicholas has found his new passion about Food and Product Photography and Cinematography. He believes in coming up with original ideas and turning them into digital work that is both innovative and measurable. Taking on thought-provoking projects that challenges him creatively and makes him go the extra mile is what he considers a way of life. He is relentless in moving boundaries and carry out this spirited attitude into digital solutions. Digital solutions that engage, inspire and make you think. As a person, he is full of energy, passion and love for what he is doing with a smile always on his face :)
