There’s just something about the colour of this water that my eyeballs adore.

This turquoise coloured Memi Mine Lake near Xyliatos village was created by a large crater that was left by a former copper and iron mine which began operating in 1954.

The water colour changes every season due to the copper alloy at the bottom of the lake which reacts with sunlight and oxygen. The spring, the water is this gorgeous turquoise colour.

Summer, dark blue.
Winter, dark green.
Autumn, light green.

Dying to get back every season to experience all the colours in their glory.

We headed down to Kapparis beach for golden hour and had loads of variations of different lighting to play with.

Thank you to this lovely couple for a brilliant evening filled with a lot of laughs!

Whether you got engaged 10 years ago or 5 minutes ago, there’s never a time limit for an engagement shoot - or any shoot for that matter. 📸 (Well, maybe a newborn shoot… unless you want to try swaddle a large child)

Toot toot engagement shoot 📸💍✨

If there’s one thing a photographer is good at it’s to take pictures, if there’s a second thing it would be the editing. But if there’s a THIRD thing? Well, that would be keeping humongous secrets.

Ryan and I lured Fern down to the beach for a “family photo shoot”. After a few weeks of planning and a couple of hurdles I’d say we did a bloody good job at keeping this under wraps.

It is such a privilege to be involved in the most sacred moments of your lives, a job I don’t take lightly for a second. I will laugh with you, cry with you but most of all we’ll have lots of fun together.

When the shoot ends, my job isn’t over. I get to relive the moments through editing your pictures so they’re perfect. Sending off the gallery is always bitter sweet! But the feedback means the world to me. 🫶🏼

Is this what heaven looks like? I don’t know, but it’s what Merlin’s Haven looks like!

This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of capturing these amazing puppies and dogs. They’re so full of love and just waiting for their forever home.
