Got back from a "Street Photography" workshop in NYC with Hugh Brownstone of Three Blind Men and an Elephant. Wonderful time. Made a few new friends, and discovered that Hugh also taught photography at Camp Laurel in Maine a few years before I did. What a very small world!

Sorry, while I am not for TikTok, either forcing a sale and/or blocking it is unconstitutional. There is no law about foreign owned businesses operating in the US that applies. Also, there is no actual evidence that the Chinese gov't has interacted with TikTok against the US.

Before you act illegally and target a company simply because they make you uncomfortable, write a law which applies to all foreign companies equally or provide evidence that they have actually broken current laws.

Stop reacting and actually ACT!

Three images from New Orleans. A great place to shoot, especially at night with all of the colors from the lights. These three from Bourbon Street right outside of our hotel.

Shot with the Leica M10-R, high ISO, handheld, generally with the Summilux 50mm lens. Love this combination for street work.

Pare, Malecón. Pare!

The storm came in that night and wave crashed into the Malecón in Havana. Some were as high as the fifth story of the apartment building on the other side of the road. As morning broke, the surf had calmed enough to get close and take a picture of the sky and the waves, still crashing, but much, much calmer.

It was a sight.

In the Field

Working through the IR images from Cuba. Ran out in to the field when I saw this gentleman working. The lines of to***co explode into bright white in the IR creating a dynamic geometric structure, which I love.

Working on the images from this last visit to Cuba. Will post some, but probably will wait until I can post an entire album. Need to have my editor (wonderful wife, Danette) tell me which to focus on.

Currently working on the images from the last Cuba trip (Havana and Trinidad). A lot of images to go through (about 4,000), but I hope to have a new album up by the end of the week.
