Purr Chaise, a purring lounge chair situated between sculpture and furniture, is covered in a shaggy layer of hand-woven wool and designed with curved forms. The chair emits a combination of vibrational frequencies between 25 and 50 Hz—the same as our cat’s purr—which have been shown to have restorative qualities for bones and tissues, as well as a calming and regenerative effect.
