We often think of a first birthday as such a special chapter — and of course, it is! 🎂✨ But the second and third birthdays are just as incredibly sweet, and sometimes even more fun (and challenging!) to capture. 💕

I’ve been photographing this little princess for years now — starting with her mum’s maternity session, then her newborn photos, and now coming back every year to capture these beautiful milestones. 🥹

She loves being in my studio, and it’s so special to watch her grow from one session to the next. 📸✨

I know many people think you have to wait until sunset for beautiful outdoor photos… but that’s not always true. ☀️

These images were taken in the afternoon, and with the right location, beautiful light, and a little bit of shade, you can still get soft, timeless photos—without having to stay out until 9 pm. 🤍

Especially for maternity sessions, comfort matters. You don’t have to choose between gorgeous light and an early bedtime.

Lately, I’ve been welcoming more and more older newborns into my studio—not just tiny babies in their first 2–3 weeks. And I have to say… I absolutely love these sessions too. 🤍

If there’s one thing I’d like every new parent to know, it’s this: whenever you feel ready is the right time.

Whether your baby is 10 days old, 6 weeks, or even a few months old, they are still incredibly sweet, beautiful, and so worth capturing. Every stage has its own magic—the sleepy cuddles, curious little eyes, first smiles, and those adorable chubby cheeks. 🥹

There is no “too late.” There is only your perfect time. And I’ll be here to capture it. ✨

Sometimes parents worry that a newborn session with older siblings might be stressful, but very often it’s actually the opposite—especially when the children are a little older.

It’s such a joy to watch them proudly hold their little brother or sister and genuinely enjoy being photographed together. These sweet sibling moments are always some of my favorites to capture. 🤍

Right now, with these hot summer days, I truly think the best time for an outdoor session is in the morning—it’s not too hot yet, and it’s much less crowded than in the afternoon. ☀️😉

But no worries—we can always find a secret spot with almost no people around for your memorable maternity or family session. Just you and your loved ones, creating beautiful memories together. 🤍
