Although the name “Cowboy meets Küken 🐣“ is definitely a weird one this was a great climb deep in the Verwall mountains of Tirol leading to the top of Östliche Faselfadspitze (2947m) 🧗👌

Zumindest läuft‘s flüssig 💩 Luftige Kraxelei im Abstieg vom Matterhorn (4478m) über den Lion Grat. Wenn mit „Ich sag‘s dir wie‘s is…“ anfängt, kann man sich eigentlich schon sicher sein, dass Blödsinn folgt 😅👌 In jedem Fall hatten wir einen geilen Tag bei unserem Septemeber Single Day Push auf meinen letzten Schweizer 4000er.

One of the greatest climbs I did this season was Fußstein (3380m) Nordkante (VI-). Always on tour with my different merino wool layers from , here you can see a base layer and a long sleeve hoody in action, which is all I wore for the whole tour 👌

Maybe this is the most amazing route that is within a 30km radius of my home. 18 pitches of elegant climbing with just a few bolts but super solid cracks, slabs and flakes to the top of one of the big mountains of the Zillertal Alps.

Trying to show the scale of this mountain is not so easy, but if you spot Mery | Outdoor enthusiast in the first picture it might give you an idea. The 30 pitches (VI-) of the granite North ridge of Pizzo Badile (3308m) are a monumental alpine climb that will stay in our memories.

Yes, a lot of mountains are called the „Matterhorn of something“ 😅 But as you can see in the last pic Patteriol (3056m) is surely among the more impressively shaped peaks of the Eastern Alps and the 25 pitch, IV+ North-East ridge is a full package of alpine adventuring - loved it!!

High up on one of lesser climbed 4000m peaks of the Swiss Alps - the beautiful Dent d‘Hérens (4173m).

Although the night was cold it was quite a treat to be able to see this amazing sunrise at the top of Pizzo Badile (3308m) after climbing up the impressive Nordkante the day before ☺️👌
